Cognitive Assessment for children now available

It is not uncommon for children presenting with emotional and behavioural difficulties to have underlying learning or developmental issues, which may or may not have been identified. Identification of learning problems can go a long way towards a child receiving appropriate support and intervention and improving a child's psychosocial adjustment. NDP is now offering cognitive ability assessment.

Cognitive ability assessment (or intelligence testing) is available for children and adolescents aged 6-16 years. Assessments are conducted by our clinical psychologists and will involve between 3-4hrs of face-to-face interview and testing using the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V), the most widely used test for assessing cognitive abilities. For further information, please see Cognitive Assessment.
