Claudia graduated as a psychologist ten years ago and is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). She is also a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Applied Neuroscience Society of Australasia (ANSA).

Claudia volunteered with the Queensland Association for Healthy Communities and with Drug ARM Australasia.

Claudia has a wide range of knowledge and experience working with children, adolescents, adults and elderly people. She provides treatment addressing issues related to adjustment disorders, anger, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, sexual orientation, gender identity, domestic violence, alcohol and drug use, grief and loss, and vocational orientation.

Claudia sees both, clients who want short term specific intervention and people seeking longer term therapeutic engagement. She utilises a number of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Inter Personal Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Claudia is also fluent in Spanish.

Additionally, Claudia has lead multidisciplinary teams in the implementation of Public Policies for Women and LGBTIQ population. Claudia developed and delivered mental health promotion and prevention programs, workshops and campaigns applying the gender and human rights perspective.

Claudia is also committed to advancing her clinical knowledge through ongoing professional education and training. Her special interest lays in the area of neurofeedback and how technological tools may help to improve concentration, stress and mood.
